With the latest K-Suite update, thanks to the K-TAG evolved hardware, it will be possible to work on bench on ECUs with microcontroller Tricore without having to open them.

 
You won’t have to buy new hardware, cables or adapters! To receive the new activation for free you just need an active subscription on K-TAG Master or Slave with Tricore-ST activation.

KESSv2: BMW 3 Series 335i xDrive now in OBD!

Thanks to this highly anticipated software update, you can now work in OBD on the petrol ECUs of the BMWs Exx Series.

From now on, to read and write these vehicles, you won’t need to open the ECU anymore: KESSv2 and standard cable are the only tools you’ll need!

All the ECUs Bosch MEVD17.2, MEVD17.2.4, MEVD17.2.9 are now supported in OBD by Alientech thanks to the new update of the software K-Suite 3.29.

If you already own a KESSv2, you won’t need to buy anything! You just have to connect your tool, read the ID of the ECU and, thanks to the OBD Virtual Reading mode, in a few seconds you’ll have at your disposal the related Original File. The Virtual Reading feature has never been so effective! Alientech currently has 718 Original Files exclusively dedicated to the BMW E-Series.

NISSAN EQUIPPED WITH ECU HITACHI: READING, WRITING AND CLONING VIA OBD WITH KESSV2!

New K-Suite update!

Today’s software update focuses on our tool KESSv2 and introduces the support of specific vehicles of the brand Nissan, equipped with ECUs Hitachi with Microcontrollers SH7055 and SH7058 that use the communication line K-LINE.

Before this update it was necessary to open the ECU, but now – due to the complexity of working on these ECUs Hitachi and to the important demand from the Asian Markets – we have decided to introduce a new communication protocol via OBD.

Protocol 697 functions:

Reading: Microcontroller reading, EEPROM reading and Backup
Writing: Microcontroller writing, EEPROM writing and Backup
Thanks to the reading and writing functions of EEPROM and of the backup, you’ll have the possibility to clone the ECU via OBD!

Thanks to KESSv2, new protocol 694, it’s possible to read the ID of the ECU, execute READING and WRITING, and access the TOOL menu. Through the TOOL menu, you can Backup and Restore both Micro and EEPROM. You’ll be able to completely backup the ECU via OBD – simply saving the files in your PC – enabling you to clone the ECU, if necessary.
