Powergate3 + Personal OBD programmer

Powergate3+ is the portable and touchscreen Personal OBD Programmer which will allow your customers to program the ECUs of their vehicles in complete autonomy, using your preloaded modified maps.

It’s a technological innovative solution that will help you attract new customers, even the ones far away from you. Set and customize the Powergate3+ and send it to a customer, wherever they may be. Don’t miss the opportunity to create a huge number and a new way of business!



  • Direct connection to the vehicle through OBD port (cables included).
  • On the Powergate3+ that your customer will receive, you’ll be able to store up to 5 different stages, in addition to the Original File of the vehicle.

  • Your customers will be able to independently select and upload your map on their vehicle.
  • Thanks to the Original File stored in the Powergate3+, the ECU can be restored to factory settings by your customers at any time.

  • Poweragate3+ is safe to use and user-friendly for both you and your customers. All the procedures are guided so that your customers can’t write an incorrect file.
  • Poweragate3+ works as a diagnostic tool as well. It reads possible errors with DTC code, enabling you to erase them.
  • Poweragate3+ is completely customizable: this means you can create customized templates for your customers (logo, icons, language and pictures).

Which tools we’re offering you

  • Powergate3+ Decoder: is the tool that allows you to set and associate with your customer code all the Powergate3+ User you wish to sell to your customers. In order to protect your work, all the Modified Files you upload on the devices will be encoded.
  • Powergate3+ User: is the tool you will send to your customers. It contains the Original file as well as your modified maps (up to 5 different stages for each original file). Each Powergate3+ User it’s associated with your customer’s vehicle. In case your customer should change the vehicle, Powergate3+ will be associated with the new one.
  • Software Alientech Manager: is the free software created for the tuner. You’ll be able to consult the vehicles list, customize in graphics and upload your maps on the Powergate3+ User, connect to Alientech Data Bank and get more information about all the Powergate3+ User devices associated to you. Alientech Manager can be installed on any PC.
  • Software User: it’s the free software that will be used by the final customer to download the Original File and upload your Modified Maps.

K-Suite 3.07

We are today introducing significant innovations regarding KESSv2 and K-TAG, which will provide new functionalities and tools to improve your work on many vehicles.

K-Suite Functionalities

We solved some critical issues, speeded up the software – noticeably more effective – and introduced two major functionalities which will enhance your work.

Virtual Reading for KESSv2 Slave

From now on, the Virtual Reading function will be available even for all the Slave Tools, with an active subscription. This means that, after reading the ID of the ECU, even Slave customers will be able to provide to the Master the correct encoded original file. If the Slave Tool hasn’t an active subscription, this opportunity will be precluded and the procedure remains the same: the research of the encoded file will be available only for the Master.


Automatic identification of the protocol for KESSv2 Master and Slave tools

From today using the K-Suite software, for all the protocols with Virtual Reading (VR) function, the automatic Identification of the protocol is activated for both Master and Slave customers. Once the Identification of the ECU (ID of the ECU) is carried out and the protocol is selected, K-Suite warns you if the selected protocol is incorrect, highlighting the correct one. In doing this, your work will be faster, especially during the firsts important steps.


New protocols for KESSv2 and K-TAG



From now on, you’ll be able to work via OBD (Patch with K-TAG necessary) on the Volvos equipped with Bosch EDC17CP22, Bosch EDC17CP48 and Bosch EDC17CP68, as 2015 Volvo XC60.
Also, new protocol via OBD (Patch with K-TAG necessary) even for Mercedes equipped with ECU Delphi CRD3E.1 e Delphi CRD3P, for example 2017 Mercedes GLA.

New protocols for ACM (Aftertreatment Control Module)

We introduced two new protocols for the ACMs. These are dedicated to the management of anti-pollution systems and additional services, as the DPF filter, the reduction of pollutant system ADBlue and, generally, other secondary functions not related to the Engine Control Unit.

The engine of a Truck is extremely complex due to its dimension, so an ECU just dedicated to “services” becomes necessary: that’s the reason why we decided to deal with it.

K-Suite 3.04

Thanks to your help, we identified some software bugs in the K-Suite recently released.

The reports you gave us were very helpful and let our developers, who worked at full pace in the last few weeks, to release an update where we introduced the following features:

  • K-Suite resizing. In the setting menu, it’s now possible to adapt the software K-Suite to the size of the screen.
  • Increased download speed of the updates. It will be possible to achieve a download speed up to 600 Kb/s.
  • Reduced RAM usage resulting in performance improvement of the K-Suite software.
  • Introduced saving of the last selected vehicle for programming with KESSv2 and K-TAG. Restarting the software, the last selected vehicle will be highlighted in yellow.
  • Updated vehicle list
  • Added 1321 Original Files dedicated to BMW for Virtual Reading
We’ve also introduced the Quick Start Guide. To easily and quickly learn how to use the new K-Suite, from now on you can download a brief tutorial. This document will guide you step by step through the software features: from the main menu settings to the programming of a vehicle with KESSv2 and K-TAG.

We would also like to thank you for your many downloads of the software and we hope that you’re enthusiastic about this update as much as we are, since it marked an important tu(r)ning point in the development of K-Suite.

Powergate 3 | 1.40

Powergate3 is updated with 3 new protocols – all equally important: one for Car (VAG DCM6.2), one for Tractor (John Deere Phoenix L33), and one for automatic gearboxes (Dodge BOSCH ZF 8HP70). A much awaited update, since it meets the demands of domestic and international markets and that will satisfy many needs.
Powergate3 is the latest product in Alientech home, that immediately became a reference point in the market for which it was developed.
The reasons are many: its reading and writing simplicity through the OBD-II port – never so fast and intuitive; the possibility to customize the tool with your graphics, logos and language; and the ability to meet every demand according to your needs and business.

K-Suite 2.40. New protocols for K-TAG

In this month, we have worked to try to meet the demands that we keep on getting through many channels, and this update is a concrete answer to those specific needs.
We know that the list is still long, but we are working every day to fill gaps, answer to today’s demands and meet those that are going to be in the future: with the upcoming updates we will prove it again.

In this update, we wish to point out in particular the SID208 protocol.
To give you the opportunity to work on Citroen and Peugeot vehicles equipped with Continental SID208 ECU and micro TC1796, we introduced a new communication mode for K-TAG: in addition to the Boot connection via the micro, we also introduce Boot communication through the OBD connector. The tool will automatically recognize the connection mode and guide you through read and write operations. Either in OBD or on the bench.
